Attachment from Infancy to Adulthood

Subtitled 'The Major Longitudinal Studies,' this volume overviews longitudinal research in attachment theory, particularly studies where infants assessed using the Strange Situation Procedures 20 or more years ago have been reassessed using the Adult Attachment Interview, providing insight into the stability of attachment between infancy and early adulthood.  Also covered are issues surrounding attachment measurement and the comparability of measures applied at different life stages, and developments in the conceptualisation of attachment since the early studies.
